I am a self-taught artist based in Newcastle Upon Tyne in England with degrees in Master of Science in Marketing at Northumbria University at Newcastle (2009); and Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts at the University of the East in Manila, Philippines (2002).

Although my academic qualifications are not fine arts related, my painting and artistic skills developed since I was a child as I started at a very young age. Art has been my hobby and passion that eventually inspired my creative and business skills. The family used to run a handicraft business where I developed design and craftmanship expertise. I worked as a product designer and prototype and sample-maker whilst managing the production and dealing with buyers.

Following my academic achievements, my interests are focused on business management and marketing, advertising, creative media and communications apart from painting.

My primary medium is oil, although other works include watercolour, ink/pen, charcoal, pastel and acrylic. Aside from painting, I also worked on sculptures and glass art. I am concentrating on realism and impressionism; in addition to my exploration to establish a style that combines realist and abstract, use of colours and contrasts, highlights, saturation and hues to immitate the modern digital photographic effect, with emphasis on the details; all done by hands and delicate craftsmanship.

I have no exhibitions to date, however considering future art display and exhibit to formally launch my career as an artist.
